New housing is creating better, more diverse communities. Safer streets are decreasing traffic and cleaning the air. And residents are finally winning the fight for quieter neighborhoods and less noise pollution
There’s a lot we’re getting right, but there’s a lot more to do.
Our downtown needs to be revitalized. Our housing needs to be balanced, responsible and affordable. We’re not ready for hotter summers, annual wildfires, and storms that leave us in the dark. Our kids are still struggling to learn and connect.
We have to find real solutions to these challenges and move faster. And in an environment where every dollar matters, we have to get creative and form new partnerships that keep our city safe, livable, healthy, and prosperous. That’s what we all want.
As a leader I roll up my sleeves and get things done. I’ve been proud to lead projects that bring together our nonprofit partners, community and faith leaders, city staff, and residents. And that’s how I strive to serve and represent your values and needs on city council in District 3.
My office hours are from 9-10am every Saturday morning at Cafe Borrone in downtown. Please join me to share any questions, concerns, or ideas for the city. I’m looking forward to meeting you.
Jeff
Making a home in Menlo Park with my family and finding my calling to community service has been a highlight of my life. My values and priorities have been shaped by the amazing women in my life, a strong education, a desire for lifelong learning, and the endless energy of three boys.
During my campaign I knocked on doors across all of District 3 and in downtown to hear your ideas and concerns. I’m already working together with many of you on these topics so we can better understand and move faster to solve the common issues we all face.
To create ongoing awareness of some key issues in our community, I’m putting together some short, easy-to-read presentations. I hope these are useful summaries that help you stay informed and I’ll be adding more of them over the next few years to build out the library.
Our son Vuk grabs a shovel and gets a tree planted with the Canopy and City of Menlo Park teams. Our family believes in community service and the value of volunteering with the amazing nonprofit partners that serve and improve our city.
I had the opportunity to share the city’s Climate Action Plan during a Menlo Park Community Collaboration Session at the Belle Haven Branch Library in Sept 2022. I believe in being an advocate, listening, open communication, and partnership. Let grab a coffee and connect so I can hear your concerns, priorities, and ideas for our city.
